My very own Blog! What an extraordinary idea! It is a place to share and connect. It is a place to keep all of the treasures that fill my mind. I do have so many thoughts on so many things. I’m so excited to see where this takes me, a true passion project, a way to fill my cup.
So, what is my story? I feel like I have lived many lifetimes in one, if that even makes sense. With each phase of life, are we not becoming someone else and leaving some of what we were behind us. Who I am today is vastly different from who I was in my twenties or my thirties. Now in my forties I have found myself asking, so what’s next? I do feel like I am smack bang in the middle. Society provides you with a road map of what is expected of you when you’re a child. Then as a young adult, expectations change. Next, maybe you’ve gotten married and had kids. But then the map gets a little blurry. The pathways aren’t so clear anymore. I feel like I’m on a ship out at sea. I’m trying to navigate unknown stormy seas. I hope the stars will guide me.
So here I am. Feeling a little scared but doing it anyway. Wearing my heart on my sleeve with many stories to tell. I hope you’ll follow along and maybe we can teach each other a few things along the way.
